    The Importance of Truth

"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life..." (Jesus, John 14:6)

"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (Jesus, John 8:32)

Ephesians 4:11 lists what some call the "five-fold ministry". All roles for the common good of BELIEVERS. Notice that 4 of the 5 roles have to do with speaking truth.
    Prophet (proclaims truth)
Teachers (teach God's word, which is true)
    Apostles ("messenger" of truth)
Evangelist (preach/proclaim Good News (the truth of Jesus and the cross)
Pastor (literally means "overseer" which means "elder")
